SHORT DESCRIPTION

This Central Platform brings everything together in one place – a hub where research can be shared, discovered, and advanced collaboratively. It enables researchers to make their work visible, find relevant information and tools, and connect with others.

  • All in one place: Research data, publications, and studies – transparent, comparable, and no duplicate work.
  • Better collaboration: Cloud-based, direct exchange – results stay findable, accessible, and citable long-term.
  • Full data control: Secure, long-term access and free data management – hosted on German servers with top security.

PROBLEM STATEMENT

Catalysis research requires a robust, FAIR-compliant infrastructure that enables the storage, sharing, and publication of data using persistent identifiers (PIDs) at scale. To ensure data is findable and reusable, a flexible metadata schema tailored to catalysis, including support for evolving ontologies, is essential. The platform must handle input from diverse sources such as users, ELNs, and laboratory devices. It should provide secure private and public areas to support collaboration between academia and industry, ensure interoperability with existing and future tools, and allow researchers from different institutions to work together seamlessly and cite shared datasets reliably.
