Lighthouse RDM: Orientation in the flood of data

Research data management is a basis for modern research. Many research funders encourage applicants with checklists or data management plans to address the management of their data in the conceptual design of their projects. And for good reason: applying the FAIR principles makes data findable, accessible, interoperable and reusable, and the use of appropriate skills and tools helps.

In the morning of the event, researchers will explain which requirements exist in clusters of excellence and which solutions can be developed. The DataStew project will present which skills are needed for this. In the afternoon, many locations from NRW will demonstrate in information events, lectures and workshops how you can bring your research data management into safe waters.
